Danny Gatton, in my opinion, really deserves a name in the lineage of rockabilly guitar players with the greats. Scotty Moore, Luther Perkins, Carl Perkins, Cliff Gallup, Eddie Cochran, Duane Eddy, Grady Martin, Brian Setzer.. Danny Gatton! In todays video I talk about how I believe he was part of the evolution of the Rockabilly guitar with some demonstrations and discussions around 3 main points. I can’t avoid broaching the comparison between Gatton and Setzer, but I do my best to handle it sensitively. Did I succeed? See chapters below
