Dark - Fantasy Music

This song started out even darker, but got less dark as I worked on it, the name stuck though. Working on this song was a very experimental process, I pretty much rewrote it three times from ambient and floaty, to solo piano, to whatever strange combination it ended up being. It's very raw and unedited and at the same time very processed. It's such a strange beast. At one point I thought it would make a pretty decent metal tune, and after a while I almost considered making a hip-hop beat out of it. It's been a strange week.

The contrast is a bit funny, as next week we're going from this moody tune to pure Christmas joy and there's a slight possibility that one will be followed by a rather long and explosive celtic/orchestral epic metal tune I've been working on for ages. All of this while working on a collab with Skar. It's a pretty wild end of the year, and I'm having a lot of fun with everything!
