There's really nothing TOO crazy going on here drum-wise, but as ya'll know - I really like playing along to electronic music sometimes ????????????. A while back I was watching #DC #Titans on HBOMax, & the theme music (this song) caught my ear. I just thought it sounded cool, so out of curiosity I looked up who wrote it. It was composed by Kevin Kiner - he's done a ton of film score for different shows & movies (Narcos Mexico, Making A Murderer, James Bond, some stuff for Star Wars, & a whole lot more), & I even found the full track on Spotify (link below!).

I decided I'd try writing some drum parts to it just for fun, but that original version is pretty short for a drum video (even shorter than it is here, which is already pretty short. LOL). So I cut it up a bit, & made my own little 'composition' out of it. Basically just repeated a few parts & rearranged slightly. The only other thing I did was make a lil' bass-line using Omnisphere, for the section that starts around 0:43. It felt a bit weak compared to the rest of the parts (given the context of what I had written on drums), & I think it helped everything sit a tad bit better overall.

For the record: I'm pretty into this direction DC seems to be going with their shows / movies --- taking a much 'darker' approach to the whole super-hero thing. Like that latest Joker movie with Joaquin Phoenix, & the new Batman trailer seems to have a similar vibe (even the way they portray Batman in this Titans series is pretty dark). I like the idea that Super Hero's would be like... pretty messed up psychologically. LOL. I mean, in reality, if a grown adult put on a costume & jumped around a city fighting crime... they'd have to be a little out of their mind. L O L. & I know plenty of people dress up & do Comic-Con & stuff like that --- I'm talking more like... if someone dressed up, & then *actually* beat the hell out of people, wearing a full costume... I don't think they'd be particularly healthy people (from a mental standpoint). Lol. Does anyone know what I'm sayin'...? ????????????. My POINT is: I think that vibe works well for Super Hero movies / shows, & I'm into it.

Anywayz (!), like I said - there's really nothing too crazy here drum-wise (relatively speaking), it's just a random thing I wanted to do ????. So I hope ya'll dig it! Without a doubt, the mix here made it WAY sicker (in my opinion). & like many of my recent videos, it was mixed by good-buddy Declan White! If you're looking for a super-hella-mad-sweet audio engineer, contact Declan using the email address (&/or links) below!

As always when using a boutique snare, outta respect to Tama I just gotta add this disclaimer: I *do not* officially endorse Cusworth - I am very much a PROUD #Tama Artist! I'm just also a nerd that loves trying stuff & has an addiction to purchasing snare drums ????. (#NerdLyfe AMIRITE?!)
