"Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend", specifically the Marilyn Monroe version from the 1953 Howard Hawk's film production of "Gentleman Prefer Blondes" is a song I've wanted to tackle for years. I thought it would be fun to play it Rockabilly style.
The awesome band Swing Cats (Danny B. Harvey, Slim Jim Phantom, Lee Rocker) beat me to it, however, when they created a rendition for the movie "Burlesque" in 2010.

I only heard their version early summer 2024, and thinking how amazing it is, worked out a guitar instrumental in place of Marilyn's voice. It is their version I am playing to (with Marilyn's vocals removed, and slight remixing of the overall track).
The song I'm playing during the end credits is just something I worked out after doing a different remix of the backing track.

I hope you will enjoy watching and listening!!
