Welcome to the complete Diminished Scale Guitar Workout for jazz guitar!
In this guitar lesson you'll learn the symmetry of the diminished scale guitar patterns, chords and arpeggios. I'll also show you some creative and great sounding diminished scale guitar licks.

I'll show you every aspect of the diminished scale. You'll learn the theory behind it and how to best work with the diminished scale, which also goes by the name whole tone half tone scale.

I'll cover the following topics:
+ Diminished Scale guitar patterns
+ Diminished Scale Exercises
+ Diminished guitar chords
+ Diminished guitar arpeggios
+ Diminished guitar licks
+ Diminished passing chords
+ Resolving diminished 7th arpeggios

At the end of this lesson you'll learn 3 Dimiminished guitar licks, so you can use your knowledge in content. If you download my lesson pack, you'll get 5 bonus licks, all the Diminished sclae diagrams, the diminished arpeggios and chord diagrams. I'll also have you covered with a diminished scale guitar backing track at two tempi.

Diminished 7th arpeggios on guitar are of great importantce. You need to know them not only for when you stumble upon diminished guitar chords, but diminished arpeggios are often used over dominant 7th chords. They substitute for the altered chord. So they're very very useful!

By the end of this diminished guitar lesson you'll be able to create your own diminished scale solo improvisation and use all the available tools. You'll also understand the mechanics, in particular the symmetry of the diminished scale.
You'll learn to play over the entire fretboard and see all the relations between the diminished guitar chords , their arpeggios and the underlying scale.

To accoomplish all that I have you covered with some diminished scale guitar exercises, which will make you understand the fretboard symmetry better and start seeing things. Visualization really helps with this scale, because it is so symmetrical and repeats itself on different areas.
