http://www.mainlynks.com/profile.php?pro=vladtv - Las Vegas spitter Dizzy Wright recently sat down with VladTV correspondent Jenny Boom Boom and discussed his preference for indie over major labels and taking his time with success versus blowing up immediately.
Wright is currently signed to Hopsin's Funk Volume Records, an independent label that Dizzy has been very loyal to over the years, saying that if he were to sign to a major, Funk Volume would still have to be involved somehow. For Dizzy, keeping creative control and freedom is extremely important, and also something major label signees give up once they sign those contracts.
He also likes the fact that his popularity has been slowly increasing as opposed to being an overnight success, feeling that the fans have really gotten to know him through constant touring, and also likes the fact that he can move at the pace in which he chooses.
