We had been covering Olivia Rodrigo's “Vampire” after it was released as a single. When we had the chance to do this session at Mammoth Recording Studio in Buffalo, we thought it would be the perfect song to track because it had been getting great feedback at our live shows. Despite writing heavier songs that are not necessarily as refined as your typical pop track, we all gravitated towards the potential that Vampire had as a Ska-punk cover. Here is the result, captured live in-studio!
