Double Bass Drum Lessons | 4 Pedal Drumming

Learn how to develop your double bass in this live drum lesson. I will be going over how to play a basic double bass pattern with a 2 and 4 backbeat and another hand pattern putting a snare drum on all 4 downbeats for a strong heavy metal drumbeat. Then in another part of the double bass drum lesson I will go over 3 exercises that I use to develop rhythm and faster double bass. I always use a metronome to develop my double bass speed and stamina. A metronome will help you gauge where you are at and will present levels of speed and stamina for you to work towards.

Also, I will explain how learning double bass is a beginning approach to using 4 pedals and how it all relates. And, learn how a simple shift in the start of the 16th note pattern can change the whole feel of the beat.

On top of all the drum lessons during the stream, I will be improvising drum solos using my unique style of ambidextrous drumming using 4 pedals to create some really deep grooves!
