The double harmonic major scale (also known as Gypsy Major, Arabic, Byzantine or Bhairav Raga in Indian music) has a very dark, evocative sound. You can think of it as a major scale with the 2nd and 6th degrees flattened. In this video I'm playing a regular C harp (Seydel 1847) in Richter tuning.
