The Drumtrainer Marschkapelle performs the percussion-piece "ODOK", written by Drum Connection and Dirk Erchinger in 2006, right in front of the House of Music/Noisy Rooms in Berlin, Friedrichshain.

This performance is the first part of a series of videos by the Drumtrainer Marschkapelle supported by the Scholarship programme NEUSTART KULTUR by the German Minister of State for Culture and the Media and the Gesellschaft zur Verwertung von Leistungsschutzrechten (GVL).

The Drumtrainer Marschkapelle, was created in 2009 by „Drumtrainer Berlin“ and is not your classic marching band or percussion group. Instead, it sees itself as a Berlin style beat machine which uses marching band instruments to play techno, hip hop, new orleans, samba and calypso rhythms. The best students and lecturers of Drumtrainer Berlin play together in the Marschkapelle.
