We'll start with a classic Jimmy Reed-style shuffle, moving from the 2nd to the 4th fret on the A string while hammering that low E. This basic shuffle also works great in A by repeating the pattern on the D string. It's perfect for a JJ Cale vibe or a gutbucket blues feel.

Next, we’ll elevate your blues playing by adding some harmonic sophistication. Instead of just playing the basic shuffle, we'll introduce a new voicing:
