http://www.vladtv.com - Estelle opened up to VladTV about why she stopped rapping in favor of singing when she came to the U.S., and explains it was partially due to people focusing on her accent. The London native says back home she could hold her own with the guys, but her talent was lost to her accent in the States.
The "American Boy" singer says that she still raps when it feels right for her, including on several albums, but says she got bored with it for a while.
