For POM 019 Get Physical Music / Poesie Musik strikes on our hometurf with the release of Eva Be feat. Ben Ivory. Legendary Berlin female DJ Eva Be teams up with the glamourous Singer Ben Ivory who just got lots of credible great reviews for his debut album „Neon Cathedral“.
The track which was premiered live at Eva Be’s Get Physical Video Session with a stunning live performance marks their first ever recording together. Eva Be dropped her debut album on Sonar Kollektiv in 2007 and has been all over Europe Djing in the meantime.
Their track „Closer“ is a great piece of contemporary Deep House with a strong vocal performance of a a great song by Ben Ivory. Beside the strong original mix Eva Be gets much Remix support from fellow Berliners Ruede Hagelstein, Kasar and Clé & Terrible who deliver a great „Washing Machine“ Remix looking back at the legendary Berlin party series with the same name. A totally different approach comes from the vienna based talent Steve Hope who puts much UK flavour into his fresh remix. To roundup this package Eva Be joins the E-Werk veteran and one-half of Maertini Broes DJ Clé for an elegant sounding string version of the track.
