This is just me practicing moving between time and one particular drum fill that is going to be synchronized with the bass line.

When I prepare to record drum parts for songs — particularly songs in an odd time — I gain a better appreciation for the work that Neil Peart did with Rush. He came up with very interesting parts and fills, and never repeated a fill. It would be interesting to me to know how long it would take him to develop a drum part. if you know, let me know!
