This second single is dedicated to when I quit my corporate job to travel the country and see friends and relatives for three months on my first solo trip. The memories made that cross country journey and the times since make this song very special. I explored nature without feeling rushed to leave from it, I created friendships that will last a lifetime, I helped friends in need, I learned so much about myself, and most importantly, I kept singing. And now with this song, I'm writing...
My driving trip started from Orange County, CA and first stopped in Denver, Co to sing the national anthem, then hiked to Yelllowstone National Park, traversed through the Badlands and Mt. Rushmore, scampered over to Minneapolis, MN, zoomed across to the Upper Peninsula, MI, ripped down to Madison, WI, then a quick hop to Chicago, IL, then danced to Nashville, TN, meandered to Dallas, TX, with a quick charge in Austin, TX, and finally back to Cali.
