Famous examples are Newton's Cradles and Drinking Birds. These were intended to provide decoration or pleasure, relieve stress or inspire creativity.
The images here (with sound) similarly seem pointless, but are somehow hypnotic and stress relieving. Of course, some listeners/viewers might find all of this intensively irritating!!!
