Taman Tumbina, Bintulu
The name of Taman Tumbina encompasses its vision to be a centre for Flora and Fauna appreciation in Bintulu. A combination of the words TUMbuhan (meaning Plants) and BINAtang (animals), Taman Tumbina is a botanical and zoological garden.

The garden was created to be A Living Heritage Of The Flora & Fauna Of Borneo, while providing local communities with a recreation and tourism product, education for the younger generation as well as to encourage conservation.

Officially opened 2 August 1991 and is spread over 57 hectares of hilly terrain overlooking the South China Sea, Bintulu Town and Tanjong Kidurong Industrial Estate. (Sarawak Tourism)
