I’ve been reconnecting with old friends and old songs these past few weeks and had the pleasure of playing some of them at a show in Utah’s beautiful west desert a few days ago. What a magical place and experience…

Although I still play this pairing of songs live often, something about it felt different this time. I can’t quite put my finger on exactly what it was…

It’s funny how songs can change without sounding so different—the words stay the same, but suddenly they mean something else entirely.

I guess, in a way, the song has stayed true to its title… it now has an alternate meaning—and I’m sure it won’t be its last.
