http://www.vladtv.com - It's safe to say Farrah Franklin was a part of one of the biggest female music groups in history at 18 years old. After disbanding from Destiny's Child within less of a year's time, Farrah needed some time to "regroup" and take it all in. Now nearly 15 years later, she's back in the limelight and ready to take over.
Before delving into her musical ventures, DJ Vlad asked Farrah if she's surprised by the amount of success Beyonce has had over the years. "No, not at all. She is an amazing entertainer and performer," she stated. She puts in work, so no, I'm not surprised at all."
Sometime after leaving Destiny's Child, Farrah was introduced to Brooklyn spitter Fabolous, who made her the first and only lady on his Street Family Records label. Alongside Fab and labelmate Mike Shorey, Farrah created an album's worth of music throughout the three years she was signed. Unfortunately for her however, her album never got to see the light of day.
Watch as Franklin recalls working with Fabolous, being asked to be a part of 702 and more in our latest exclusive.
