Felicia "Snoop" Pearson recently worked with Spike Lee on his latest film, Chiraq, and the actress spoke to us about the backlash that the film received from Chicago rappers. After hearing what Lil Bibby told VladTV about the film, Felicia told us that she can understand where the rappers are coming from, but she pointed out that the film was adapted from the ancient Greek play, Lysistrata.
During the interview "The Wire" actress also spoke about her challenging role in another Spike Lee movie, Da Sweet Blood of Jesus, where she played a prostitute. Pearson explained that since she hadn't worn a dress since her fifth grade graduation she reached out to actors like Wesley Snipes, who famously played a cross-dresser in To Wong Fu, for advice.
