I recently was on eBay and saw that Stratosphere had Fender Squier Paranormal Custom Nashville Strat loaded bodies that were brand new for $299. I had a neck that came off of a damaged Squier 40th Anniversary Stratocaster. I really love these necks. With the satin finish they are very playable, plus they look really pretty with the vintage tinted finish. The original neck that would have been on this loaded body would have been also a 21 fret c-shape but it would have had a laurel fret board and a gloss finish.
New this guitar goes for $429. You can pick up used in the high $300s. They seem to keep their value and the gap between pricing used and new is not very much which is a great indicator on a guitar quality.
I REALLY like the sounds that come out of this guitar. Amazingly clean.
There are so many tones that this guitar can produce. With the three pickups the guitar comes with a 5-way switch and a push pull tone control.
Position 1. Bridge Pickup (with switch adds Neck Pickup)
Position 2. Bridge and Middle Pickup (with switch adds Neck Pickup)
Position 3. Middle Pickup
Position 4. Middle and Neck Pickup
Position 5. Neck Pickup
