While I'm in South Wales I took some time to record few numbers with a good friend of mine, Anthony Cresci at the harmonica. Anthony is also a member of the Snatch It Back band, a long-established blues band based in Cardiff, Wales. Check them out! Snatch It Back Wales on Facebook
The first song we played is "Floating Bridge", a blues song by Sleepy John Estes that he first recorded in 1937. "Floating Bridge" is autobiographical. The lyrics recount a near-death experience when Estes almost drowned after falling from a bridge into a river.
