Funky Harp (Tab - C Harmonica)

Hello! How you doing?

Today I'll like share with you this funky style harmonica video that also includes tabs!

This video is for those who are at an intermediate/advanced level as it features some tricky techniques!

We'll find, tongue blocks (Octaves), bendings, glissandos and tied notes. (and a mix of them)

HARMONICA:
C

Tab reading:

(2) = draw notes between parentheses
1 = blow notes
* = asterisk indicates bending (each asterisk indicates the bending depth eg: (2**) = (2) draw whole step bend )
- = indicate ligature (no air cut eg: (3)-(4) three and four draw without cutting the air passage)
/14/= forward slash indicate tongue block or octave (eg: /14/ = block of 1 and 4 blow)
te = Tongue Staccato
ta = Tongue Staccato
tu = Tongue staccato and Bending / in english you should pronounce "to"
ue =Bending and legato (eg: (4*)ue = Four draw bend legato to four draw)
eeee= the note is stretched in time
Gliss-= Abbreviation for "glissando"

Examples:

(3*)te-(2) = (3) half step bend with staccato "teh" tied "-" to (2)
(3*)teee- = (3) half step bend with staccato "teh" stretched and then tied "-" to the note that follows in the melody
Gliss-(4*)ueeeee = Glissando to (4) draw bend with stretched "ue" articulation

Disclaimer:
"ue" articulation might not work exactly like its suppost to in English, because if you pronounce "e" you will probably feel that your mouth tights.
For this articulation you must bend the note and then realese to the draw note.

Hoy les comparto este video de armónica estilo funk que además incluye tablatura!

Esta orientado para aquellxs que se encuentren en un nivel intermedio/avanzado, ya que cuenta con algunas técnicas difíciles!

Vamos a encontrar, bloques de lengua (Octavas), bendings, glissandos y notas ligadas. (y una combinación de las mismas)

Armónica:

Lectura de tablatura:

(2) = notas aspiradas entre paréntisis
1 = notas sopladas
* = el asterisco indica bending (cada asterisco indica la profundidad de bending ej: (2**) = segundo bending de (2) )
- = guion medio para indicar ligadura (no se corta el aire ej: (3)-(4) tres y cuatro aspirados sin cortar el paso de aire)
/14/= Las barras indica bloque de lengua o octava (ej: /14/ = bloque de 1 y 4 soplado)
te = Pronunciar la palabra "te" para producir un staccato de lengua
ta = Pronunciar la palabra "ta" para producir un staccato de lengua
tu = Articulación de bending con staccato de lengua
ue = Articulación de bending, al pronunciar "ue" bajo a bending y ligo a aspirado normal
eeee= la nota se estira (prolonga) más en el tiempo antes de pasar a otra
Gliss-= Abreviación de Técnica de "glissando" o barrido

Algunos ejemplos:

(3*)te-(2) = Primer bending de (3) con staccato "te" ligado "-" a (2)
(3*)teee- = Primer bending de (3) con staccato "te" mas estirada o prolongación de la nota ligado "-" a la nota que siga en la melodia
Gliss-(4*)ueeeee = Glissando a bending de (4*) con articulación "ue" mas estirada
