Get Jazzy! Learn Basic Jazz Blues (C Harmonica) ????

Get Jazzy with this Basic Jazz Blues For Harmonica! A few years ago I humbled my Moon Cat face and took a couple of great lessons from Konstatine Reinfeld and Filip Jers so I could learn to navigate the changes I had been loving, hearing and seeing in so many blusey but distinctively Jazzy songs. I hear a lot of people TALK about playing harmonica with influences they say are inspired by listening to other instruments (horns, guitars, keyboards) but the players that use those instruments, more often than not, don't just sound different than harmonica players they PLAY differently as well. Here we will be OBSERVING changes most harmonica players never learn to do to get those jazzy licks, improvise to the cows come home and change our musical perspective forever. Playing like a horn player etc is a lot more than just getting a similar tone with a mic, amp or a pedal pedal etc it's about knowing the chords and the notes in them and being able to put extra stuff or imply other chords over a more simple progression. This an advanced lesson, certainly not for everyone but if you love Charlie Parker, Dexter Gordon, Dizzy Gillespie, Sonny Stitt, Ben Webster, Ellington and all those cats then this lesson is a basic step in that direction as a musician that is a lot more significant than just learning the heads (melodies) to these famous songs. I'm still learning this stuff too and will be getting better hopefully the rest of my life. Have fun, sit back, don't worry if you don't understand it all right away.
