"God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen" for Brass Quintet

I was in a Christmas mood in the days just following Christmas Day, 2019, when I wrote this setting of “God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen.” It is the second in a series of arrangements we are publishing to address what I feel is a weak spot in the brass quintet literature…MUSICAL, PLAYABLE, and PRACTICAL brass quintet arrangements of Christmas music. Most of the quintet arrangements of Christmas songs are musically weak, unnecessarily difficult technically, and/or physically taxing to a degree which makes programming on a concert program impractical.
