In today's new video Ian Allison shows you how to recreate the awesome bassline from Steely Dan's 1977 hit, Peg.

A generous layer of slap bass permeates throughout each chorus, thanks to studio bass legend Chuck Rainey. Despite being told not to slap, Chuck somehow found a way to sneak it in without anyone noticing! The result is some of the grooviest and funkiest rhythms in the entire Steely Dan catalogue.
