Let's learn Snare Hop Groove 1. The Hop Pattern is created by adding the "e&" count to the pulse. We traditionally count the pattern "1e& 2e& 3e& 4e&". This video will demonstrate that pattern on the snare, just after the bass hit. This gives a lifting feel to the groove, almost as if you are "hopping" up to the snare hit. Hence the name, Hop Grooves. Remember to go slow at first. With practice, you will have a smooth flow to the groove, creating a solid foundation. Always work on keeping a steady tempo. The other musicians will love you for it. You will use this throughout the entire gig. #snarehopgroove #learndrums #drumgroove #groovesthatkeepyourgig #drumology #academyofdrumsandguitar #drumlesson #drumteacher #drum #drumdrum #drumdrumdrum #drums #drumsdrums #drumsdrumsdrums #groovedrumming #drumming #drummer #drummers #drumsdaily #dailydrumgroove #drumlife #keepondrumming #drummersofinstagram #drummersofyoutube #drummersoftiktok #drummersofthreads #phillydrumco #sabiancymbals #vicfirthsticks #remodrumheads
