Use the guitar fretboard to practice getting the right pitch on the three hole of the harmonica. Here we match the root, third, flatted third and second notes of an A scale with an emphasis on the root and flatted third, “blue note”. This exercise is drawn from Exercise 8 of the Single Note Method Book (found at guitarandharmonica.com) which is tabbed out in the key of G but transposed here to the key of A to give you an idea of how to transpose the Single Note Method book exercises to different keys.
