I’ve scoured the books
roamed the holy places in times of war & peace
in faith and unison
The masses praised the good lord
chanting hallelujah
=
i vowed to wage war from a mile away
then I read your eyes,
I prayed for peace for me with you
I greeted you with a smile
you had me at Hallelujah
=
I’ve reviewed the history of your affairs,
scanned the Geography of your body,
infiltrated the spelled walls protecting you
I’ve watched you from a third-eye view,

through my eyes, being a sinner & saint
in lands of imagination
dreams are lighter than gravity
it’s a see-and-belief dilemma….
in the dark rooms of club hallelujah

i tattooed the thick air around you
spoke to you in dialects of foreign tongues
I gave mass, embracing your waist under the rain
I tasted the gloss off your lips, a serum of hope
and the flesh imprinted me into you
I believed your promises
I chained them onto my neck
I repelled the doubts
It scored a hallelujah.

I alternated giving god his props,
praising you other times
warned from such a beautiful creation when in goddess mode,
the balance between sin and redemption
the resistance to temptation in me read zero,
I'm a firm believer that Without you, there’s no meaning,
such emptiness to say Hallelujah
=
We cannot demand god for ourselves; it's such selfishness
For god is shared among the masses
but you, but you in my praises
You are the heart of hallelujah, laly,
yes, you are “laly. "
so, hallelujah to you, laly
hallelujah
