To me, it all starts with the Riff from My Girl. That's the easiest way to learn the Major Pentatonic Blues Scale. Major Blues? Yes. Major Blues! There's a darker side to Blues and a lighter side. Major Pentatonic is where you find the lighter side. It's also how you can find riffs to go with Major Chords, in general. B.B.Box, combining positions, bend riffs, it's all here!
