Need to be heard? Want a unique sound? The Harp Octave cuts through the mix by filling out the mid-range, reduces feedback and has a great raspy distortion to boot.

ABOUT
The Harp Octave is a great tool for the harp player who wants to have diverse sounds. It is a clean octave-up generator that adds a great effect for harp. The octave-up overtone that the pedal adds manifests itself in the mid-range with a rasp that brings out whatever distortion is going on with the amp. The end result is a sort of fuzzy/crunchy distortion that can be mild or intense, according to the settings chosen. This pedal is best when using the pucker, lip block, and tongue block techniques. If you've ever wanted your big amp to sound like a nasty little vintage Champ or Princeton, this is the pedal that'll do it. The effect will really cut through the mix and reduce feedback; you will get more volume out of your amp before feedback than ever before. The Harp Octave has a buffered input, true bypass, a BLEND control, and a VOLUME control. The BLEND control increases or decreases the level of the generated octave, and the VOLUME control allows you to have more control over your volume for solos and when playing into a PA. The battery is switched OFF when an external power supply is used. The LED is ON when the effect is in, and is OFF when the effect is in bypass. The "IN" jack serves as the ON/OFF switch, so the pedal cannot be accidentally turned ON and run your battery down.

POWER
The pedal requires a 9v battery or a 9vdc power adapter. The AC adapter requirements are 9vdc with a minimum 100mA output and a 2.1mm x 5.5mm connector with a negative center and positive outside. Current draw is 5.3ma. The battery is switched OFF when an external power supply is used, and the IN jack acts as the ON/OFF switch and the pedal is ON as long as there is a cable plugged into the IN jack. Power adapter is not included.
