I'm Using a Clayton guitar pick I got from Page Hamilton when he played a hometown show here in Oregon :) It was an insanely hot day and my band finished playing just as the stage ran out of shade! Fortunately Helmet played as the sun went down.
This is in single fret power chords Drop D tuning (which is normal lol) and I'm playing a BC Rich Beast through a Marshall 1959 slp amp modulation by BOSS COSM . No guitar pedals or pedalboard really, it's incorporated into my BOSS DR-880 . Not sure Helmet music is progressive rock ( prog rock ) , groove metal , prog metal , post metal ... etc I guess that's what makes them cool! Anyway, the meantime album was produced by Steve Albini and Andy Wallace at Fun City New York City except In the Meantime recorded at Chicago Recording Company Chicago
