I see drummers, especially students, trying to murder there drums in order to play loud. hitting the drums like they owe you money won't help you, you'll still be broke and sound too soft. We need to make the entire drum speak, both heads. You do this by letting the weight of your arm, wrist, stick fall into the drum. Stay relaxed, stay classy.
