http://www.vladtv.com - Hitman Holla shared some of his back story and lengthy history in the sport of Battle Rap in this clip from his exclusive interview with VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes.

Hitman detailed his youthful years as a rapper, and how he used to battle for $100-$200 at "Lock-Ins" in St. Louis throughout his teenage years, which amounted to a total of about $1,200 in earnings over time. Before getting heavily involved with rap and Battle Rap specifically, Hitman was a well respected and scouted athlete, who possesses loads of skills in both football and basketball. Even though his first dream was to become a professional athlete, Hitman decided to make the transition to rapping once he began making a significant income from his battles.

He also recalled the dangers that came with Battle Rap many years ago, before they were ever even filmed on camera. Being that he is a Blood member, he spoke about the tension that filled the room during one battle that he had against a rival Crip member. Hitman also reflected on getting into a few rumbles of his own during his time spent at the events hosted by Aye Verb at the African Palace.
