Jeff Ament @officialament is one of the bass world’s unsung heroes, and 'Jeremy' by Pearl Jam is without fail his most recognisable bass line!

The intro is played on a special 12-string Hamer bass, which Ament used to flesh out the track with rich harmonics and melodic passages followed by slick chordal fills. The sound of the 12-string really hits the mark, although you won’t hear the extra strings ringing out individually - they simply add to the overall tone.
