From his founding perch as Tower Of Power's propulsive bassist, Francis ‘Rocco’ Prestia helped innovate fingerstyle funk and redefine the concept of groove.

A good place to jump into his style is the 1993 Tower of Power standard Soul With a Capital “S”. Prestia dug in hard, with a fingerboard approach that involved left hand muting and super "pokey" sounding right hand.
