Take Your bouncy shuffle drum grooves to the next level with the half time shuffle! Shuffles are based on triplets so I go a bit into the music theory of shuffles in this lesson (check out my shuffle courses for more of that). The half time is where we simulate a ‘slower’ sounding groove by keeping th E HiHat pattern the same, but just moving the kick drum and snare drum notes around to give us a different backbeat.
