I grew up playing Bonnie Dundee on the Bagpipes...

This was the first 6/8 march I learned how to play on the great highland bagpipes!

I still remember one fine Robby Burn's dinner, I might have been 10 or 11 years old at the time. I watched my pipe teacher play Bonnie Dundee on the pipes as he marched in the haggis. I remember thinking I gotta learn this tune!

6/8 Marches have such a nice feel to them. More of a swing or flow than your classic 4/4 bagpipe marches. 6/8 Marches can be played a bit up-tempo but are not as challenging as getting a jig up to speed. I've had the fortune to please many different crowds over the years playing Bonnie Dundee on the pipes.

I am so thankful to have grown up playing to Bonnie Dundee on the bagpipes! Now, I'm here to help you learn this classic bagpipe tune on the practice chanter! This lesson is perfect for intermediate and beginner bagpipers.

Now let's Get "Bonnie Dundee" Bagpipe Ready :)
