In this video I demonstrate how two play the song Everybody Wants To Rule The World by Tears For Fears. This is a beautiful song that is performed, recorded and written fantastically, is one of my favorite songs of all time. Back in the 80'sl songs were allowed to breath and instrumental sections were just as important as verses and chorus parts. This song exemplifies 80's pop music and showcases wonderful instrumental parts interwoven with cool lyrics, melodic passages and hooks. The guitar solos in this song are tasty and white tricky to pull off even though not technically the most challenging, the rhythms and phrasing is part of what makes them cool. This song was off of the album Songs From The Big Chair, and is one of many great songs from this record, but probably is may favorite. I hope you enjoy the lesson. Please subscribe!
