In this short harmonica lesson, I demonstrate playing a pattern of notes through a scale. Playing a pattern and starting it on different notes in the scale is called a "Sequence", and it's a great way to practice your scales on harmonica, or any instrument!

For this example, I'm playing what I call the "Almost" Blues Scale. I teach this scale in my lesson, Easy Blues Harmonica Scale for Beginners: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAQYcBZqYrU

Consider checking out that lesson first if you've never played this blues scale before. Once you know the scale really well, and have it memorized, this video can open up new ideas for how you can practice the blues scale (or any scale) to maximize your success on your instrument.

Again this concept works with any scale that you want to play on the harmonica.

Rock on,
Luke
