How to practice chord changes - Jazz trumpet
Do you struggle to remember the chord changes for jazz standards you are working on.
If so, I would hazard a guess and probably say you are not practicing the right way.
For me, I need to play through the chord changes and guide tones, many, many, many times.
The more I do, the happier I feel when trying to improvise over the tune!
Try not to be impatient and feel happy that you are progressing when practicing these types of exercises!
If you would like the resources, they are available in Bb, C, bass clef & Eb for my Patreon and coaching program members.

Coaching program - http://bit.ly/3WxpF3b
As well as the pdf resources, members also receive the backing track and demo etude recording.
I hope you enjoy the lesson (their is a lot of work in it) but remember, you can work on ANY jazz standard in this way to get the changes into your ears and fingers!
