Hello everyone. Please remember to like, share, and subscribe. Here's my YT reel of my step by step drum tuning lesson on "How To Set Up & Tune A 6.5" x 14" Snare Drum feat. The SJC DRUMS Jay Weinberg Model Using 2 Different Batter Heads. Those batter heads are the stock Evans G2 Coated, and an Evans HD Dry, which is one of my fave snare heads for beefy snare sounds. LOTS of tuning tips/lessons in this video, plus some great low, medium, and high tunings for this drum. This snare belongs to one of my drum tuning clients/students (and now drum lesson student) Brad. It's a beautiful gift from his wife that he wanted it setup, and tuned with the HD Dry. So while I'm a Rogers Drums LOVING fool, I embraced the moment, and did a step by step lesson on tuning this awesome FACE PUNCH of a drum. The YT version has TONS of great tips/lessons, but in the full lesson streaming at www.kennysharretts.com , I take this snare from ground to sound with both heads so you can learn step by step how to get low, medium, and high tunings for this drum (or pretty much any 6.5" x 14" snare drum) Overhead tuning graphs, pitches, Tune Bot, and Drum Dial settings are included with the full lesson. Learn to get the snare sound you want EVERY TIME YOU TUNE. Watch this vid, then stream the full lesson at kennysharretts.com , and take your tuning game to the next level.
