Hey guys! Hope you're having a killer day out there so far!
Today I bring you another shred guitar lesson! This time it's in the style of legendary @Michael Angelo Batio! Over the years people have compared my shred style to his, and have asked me how I get that "MAB" sound.

So hopefully this short video helps you out!
Keep in mind that I'm not Michael Angelo Batio. I can only show you what I do that's helped me get that classic MAB sound.

This video primarily focuses on alternate/economy picking across the neck using the major scale 3nps patterns. I also discuss the importance of right/left-hand mechanics and overall relaxation.
As an added bonus I mention my current amp settings to get that MAB tone.
In general higher mids and a touch of delay/reverb will do the trick.
