Howlin' Wolf and Little Walter Classic 16 Bar Blues: Poor Boy and My Babe Lesson

We are gonna keep rockin' in '24 with MORE great videos! I figure it's always good to go over some standards, like My Babe by Little Walter, which is a PERFECT song. But it also occured to me that lots of folks may not have a handle on the 16 bar form in general, especially if they didn't grow up singing songs in church like My Babe's predecessor "This Train". So I picked two 16 bar songs to illustrate this type of song-- Poor Boy (the flip side of "Sittin' on Top of the World") by Howlin' Wolf and Little Walter's My Babe, definately one of the most popular blues songs of all time. Both guitar parts are must-knows for basically anybody who owns a guitar. Poor Boy has a stellar Hubert/Wolf tandem 'solos'-- really they're just attacking the melody as a team on harp and guitar that's well worth looking at, and a really cool updated almost Country, but Hubert-ized rhythm part.
