This is a short song I made as a bit of an experiment/exercise.

The messy sheet music you see in the middle was written by me in school today out of boredom, and I had no idea how it would sound, since it was basically just random notes and chord symbols.

Back at home, I transcribed it to midi (I accidentally input a couple notes wrong, but I was already used to how it sounded and didn't like how it sounded according to the sheet music, so I sketched in the midi notes on the sheet music). I then added drums and a bass line to try and make it a full song, which was the real exercise, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!

I think this is a fun exercise if you're looking for inspiration!
