birth of summer begets sleepless nights,
wandering blurry steps of an untamed beauty
in my place
exploring a newborn Ego
fighting caged innocence, untamed fantasies
in the spaces of peace

warming to the attitude of healing the feelings
I converse with those liquor-red lips
about virgin desires
falling from grace serving suicidal souls

so dance on center stage
preach in the crater of my mind
lay in the core of my heart
so easily, I can lose my mind

touch me to resonate the sounds of this moment
emotions translate into spelled words
exposed feelings egged on by dead poets,

brush up on old tales about where was i then,
but I'm here now
& the crowd of me echoed a last hurrah
the battle has just begun
so lay low & let me lose my mind

Eager to see how careful I am facing my own wishes
to have your soul
& how much of you I can handle

Because the more you grow,
the more I care.
