I Practiced Trumpet Daily For A Year – Here’s What Surprised Me!

I began 2024 with less of a resolution and more of challenge for myself – to practice the trumpet all 366 days of the year.

You’ve probably seen my daily videos on my YouTube Shorts and Instagram accounts. I’m pleased to say that I was successful – I posted the 366th daily video shortly before I sat down to record this.

The thing is, since I’m a professional trumpet player, and do this for a living, it’s a pretty poor show that this should be necessary in the first place, so I’m making this video to not only explain WHY it was necessary, but to also answer the 3 most commonly asked questions on the daily videos, and to share the thing that has surprised me most as I reflect on the last 366 days.
