"Aperio" opens on an epic wall of guitars as the beat drops on a double-kick drum metal assault. Layers of harmonized riffs build the track into a cinematic anthem as lead singer Nepthisis steps to the mic with a virtuosic tale of a woman undeterred by abuse. In 2022, Albuquerque, NM's Illumina A.D. dropped their first single in eight years. With the upcoming Days of Blood & Fire LP they continue to personify their 'light after death' moniker.
