Ardaíonn an ceol níos gléine ná an teanga agus cultúr agus tá tairbhe theiripeach ann don intinn agus don shláinte. Mar a dúirt an file Francach Victor Hugo, “Cuireann ceol in iúl an rud nach féidir a rá agus an rud a bhfuil dodhéanta a bheith ciúin.” Is mór an tairbhe a bhí ag ceol ar mo shláinte agus ba mhaith liom thríd mo cheol agus amhránaíocht tacú le daoine eile ina dturas leighis. Is mar gheall ar seo a chum mé Imeall Órga, ina shníomh mé amhráin nua-chumatha agus filíocht le fuaimeanna séimh na farraige. I gcomhair leis an amhrán tá fístéip d’íomhanna áille chois fharraige. Tá súil agam go dtabharfaidh an tionscamh faoiseamh do dhaoine agus le sos beag a ghlacadh ó shrus an tsaoil.
Music transcends language and culture and can be of great benefit for relaxation and healing. As the French Poet Victor Hugo once said, “Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent. Music has had a positive impact on my health and I want to support others through my music and singing on their healing journey. I hope that my composition, Imeall Órga/Golden Horizon will give people a respite from the challenges of life.

Imeall Órga
Tonnta ag luascadh
Luath is mall
Tonnta ag luascadh
Is mé ar fán
Tonnta ag luascadh
Is mé cois cuain
Tonnta ag luascadh
An ghaoth mar threoir
Imeall órga ag lonrú go sómasach
Is teas na gréine go haoibhinn mo neartú
Tá an gaineamh mánla fúm
Is mé ag breathnú uaim ón trá
Aer úr na farraige
Mo láidriú, mo shlánú, mo leigheas
Faighim ionspioráid anseo
Ó fhuaimeanna seanda na dtonn
Má éisteann tú go grinn
Cloisfidh tú amhráin beoga na spiorad
Ina bhfainní gléigeala
Ag lonrú le gáth na gréine
Iad ag fanacht go dóchásach
Lena seal a chaitheamh
Anseo linn
Tráthnóna inné agus is mé ag siúl liom fhéin
‘S mé ag breathnú ar an bhfarraige amach romham
‘S mé ag smaoiniú ar mo ghrá a d’imigh uaim
‘S a chuaigh thar farraige go Meiriceá
Cén fáth ar fhága tú ‘s cén fáth nach bhfillean tú?
Tá mo chroí istigh briste le brón agus dolás
Ach nuair a fhásfaidh bláth na n-áirní agus fad arís ar an lá
Ó rachaidh mé thar farraige chuig mo mhuirnín bán
Bí cróga
Bí láidir
Bí slán
A thaisce!
Tá tú láidir
Tá tú cróga
Tá tú slán
Tá tú ceart
Bí láidir
Bí cróga
Bí slán
Tá tú láidir
Tá tú cróga
Tá tú slán
Tá tú ceart
Bí folláin
Bí sona
Bí slán
Translation:
Waves sway
They ebb and flow
Waves sway
I’m adrift on the ocean
Waves sway
I’m close to the bay
Waves sway
The wind is my guide
A sumptuous golden border sparkles
Delightful heat of the sun gives me strength
Gentle sand beneath my feet
As I look out from the beach
The fresh sea air
Gives me strength, rejuvenates, heals me
I find inspiration here
From the ancient sounds of the ocean
If you listen carefully
You will hear the lively songs of the spirits
As gleaming rings
Sparkle in the sunshine
They wait and hope
For their time here
With us.
Yesterday evening as I walked alone
I looked out at the sea
I thought of my love that left
And went overseas to America
Why did you leave and why do you not return?
My heart is broken with sadness and sorrow
But when the hawthorn blossoms and days get longer
Oh I will go overseas to my sweetheart
Be brave
Be strong
Be healthy
My dear!
You are strong
You are brave
You are healthy
You are well
Be strong
Be brave
Be healthy
You are strong
You are brave
You are healthy
You are well
