Karl-Heinz Steffens conducts Mars, The Bringer of War, the first movement of Gustav Holst's orchestral suite "The Planets", with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.

The concert opens with Vaughan Williams' symphonic landscape "In the Fen Country". Award-winning soloist Paul Lewis then joins the orchestra for a soulful rendition of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No.3. The evening concludes with fireworks, with a performance of Holst's timeless epic "The Planets".
